For over three decades, Child Jesus Matriculation School has welcomed children from Pullambadi and the surrounding villages into a caring, English-medium learning environment. We admit students from LKG to Class 9 under the Tamil Nadu State Board. Our admission process is simple and personal. We invite you to visit us, meet our staff and see the school for yourself. Every child is received in the spirit of our motto: Love, Wisdom and Ethics.

Collect the application form
Application forms are available at the school office. Our staff will help you fill it in if needed.
Submit the form with documents
Return the completed form to the office along with the required documents listed below. The school office will confirm the exact requirements for your child's class.
Meet us for a short interaction
We arrange a simple, friendly interaction with the child and parents before admission is confirmed.
Receive admission confirmation
Once the application is reviewed, the school office will confirm the admission and guide you through the next steps.
Documents Required
- Birth certificate (copy)
- Transfer certificate from the previous school (for Class 1 and above, where applicable)
- Community certificate (if applicable)
- Aadhaar card copy of the child
- Recent passport-size photographs of the child
- Latest progress report or mark sheet from the previous school (where applicable)
For admission to LKG, children should generally have completed three years of age as on 31 July of the admission year, in line with Tamil Nadu norms. Age guidance for higher classes follows accordingly. Please confirm the exact age requirement with the school office.

Which classes does the school admit students to?
We admit children from LKG to Class 9, subject to seat availability in each class.
Which board and medium does the school follow?
Child Jesus Matriculation School follows the Tamil Nadu State Board, and the medium of instruction is English from LKG to Class 10.
Is there an entrance examination?
There is no formal entrance examination for kindergarten admission. For higher classes, a simple interaction or readiness assessment may be arranged. The school office will guide you.
What are the school fees?
Fee details are shared at the school office at the time of enquiry. Please call us or visit during office hours for the current fee structure.
Can my child join in the middle of the academic year?
Mid-year admissions are considered case by case, subject to seat availability. Please contact the school office to discuss your child's situation.
My child is transferring from another school. What do we need?
Please bring the transfer certificate and the latest progress report from the previous school, along with the other documents listed above. Our office staff will assist you with the rest.
School Fees
School fees may be paid for the whole year at once, or in four instalments across the year.
- The first instalment must be paid by the notified date, before the school reopens, failing which the seat may be forfeited.
- The second, third and fourth instalments are due before the first week of September, December and March respectively.
- A student joining or leaving during the year is charged fees for the whole year.
- Fees once paid are not refunded.

School Uniform
Students are expected to come to school neatly dressed in the correct uniform each day. The uniform varies by the day of the week.
